On May 30, China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) was awarded the Chile 2025 National Guaranteed Housing Project, marking another significant milestone in the company’s expansion within the Chilean market. The project owner is Constructora PyL SpA, and the contract is structured under a general construction contracting model.
The project scope includes the construction of 33 guaranteed housing developments, totaling 11,238 housing units across multiple regions of the country. These include the Capital Region and Valparaíso Region in central Chile, the Antofagasta and Arica Regions in the north, and the Maule Region in the south.
This large-scale initiative aims to address Chile’s national housing demand by providing dignified, accessible, and high-quality living spaces for thousands of families. CHEC’s selection for this important program reflects the client’s strong confidence in the company’s technical capabilities, construction quality, and ability to deliver complex, multi-region projects on time.
This marks CHEC’s third project in Chile, reinforcing the company’s growing reputation in the country’s infrastructure and residential development sectors. The award further consolidates CHEC’s market presence and brand influence in Chile, aligning with the company’s long-term vision of contributing to inclusive, sustainable development across Latin America.
