The project team launched a comprehensive inspection campaign targeting potential safety hazards, based on the “Determination Standard for Major Accident Hazards.” In light of the seasonal challenges posed by Panama’s rainy season, special focus was placed on slope stability, excavation safety, and temporary electrical systems.
The inspection was carried out with a zero-tolerance approach—requiring the immediate rectification of all identified risks. The initiative reinforced the team’s commitment to creating a safe and controlled work environment under all conditions.
