The Northern Jamaica Villa Project Phase I celebrated the grand opening of its showroom on September 17 in Saint Ann Parish, marking an important milestone in CHEC’s growing presence in Jamaica’s real estate sector. The ceremony brought together Mayor Michael Belnavis, Mr. Xia Xinrui, Deputy General Manager of China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC), and representatives from government departments, local media, and project partners.
In his remarks, Mayor Belnavis commended the project’s efficiency, quality, and modern design, describing it as a new benchmark in Jamaica’s residential development. He emphasized that the villas effectively address a gap in the mid-to-high-end housing market, providing residents with modern, high-quality living environments. The Mayor also expressed his confidence in CHEC’s continued contributions to the economic growth and community development of the region.
Mr. Xia Xinrui expressed gratitude to the Jamaican government for its strong support and reaffirmed CHEC’s commitment to excellence, sustainability, and innovation in design and construction. He noted that all Phase I villas have been sold out, with results exceeding expectations, underscoring the project’s success and strong market reception.
Looking ahead, the project team will continue advancing construction works while actively preparing for future phases of development, as CHEC remains dedicated to delivering high-quality projects that promote local prosperity and strengthen China–Jamaica cooperation in sustainable urban development.
