The Panama Fourth Bridge Project, one of CHEC’s flagship infrastructure works in Latin America, hosted its 2025 “Navigators” New Employee Orientation and Mentorship Ceremony on September 23. The event brought together regional company leaders, project managers, and employee mentors to welcome a new generation of professionals joining the project team.

During the ceremony, new employees shared their career aspirations, expressed gratitude for the company’s trust and training opportunities, and pledged to enhance their technical and management skills to contribute to the project’s progress. Their mentors, in turn, presented personalized development plans and formalized their commitment by signing mentorship agreements.

Addressing the new recruits, regional leadership outlined four key expectations to guide their journey within the company:

Uphold company standards, practicing integrity, discipline, and accountability in every task and interaction.

Embrace the dual-mentor system, ensuring balanced development through both professional guidance and values-based education.

Remain humble and eager to learn, with particular emphasis on improving Spanish language proficiency to grow as capable, cross-cultural professionals.

Demonstrate responsibility and cultural respect, promoting teamwork and effective communication across diverse backgrounds.

The event concluded with an atmosphere of enthusiasm and pride, marking the beginning of a new chapter for these young professionals who will continue to carry CHEC’s mission—to build a better-connected world—through their dedication and excellence.
