The Bahari Infrastructure Project in Jamaica recently received a letter of appreciation from the client, PROVEN Group Ltd., recognizing the project team’s outstanding relief efforts following Category 5 Hurricane Melissa.
In the letter, the client commended CHEC for its rapid mobilization and selfless commitment in the aftermath of the hurricane, noting that the company’s actions brought hope to families and communities facing severe hardship. The letter also expressed the client’s expectation to continue working closely with CHEC on post-disaster recovery efforts and to further strengthen their cooperative partnership.
This recognition reflects CHEC’s strong commitment to corporate social responsibility. Looking ahead, the company will continue supporting post-hurricane reconstruction in surrounding communities, reinforcing trust with clients and local residents while upholding a positive corporate image.
In late October 2025, Category 5 Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica with devastating force. Immediately after the disaster, the Bahari Infrastructure Project team activated its emergency response mechanism, quickly assessing conditions in nearby affected communities and urgently mobilizing relief supplies, including food, clean drinking water, and emergency lighting equipment. In coordination with PROVEN Group, the team became among the first responders to deliver humanitarian aid to impacted communities.
