In celebration of Jamaica’s National Labour Day, the Jamaica Office and the SPARK Road Rehabilitation Project organized a nationwide volunteer initiative that brought together nearly 100 participants, including employees, project partners, and community representatives.
Volunteers participated in a wide range of community service activities across the island, including renovating school facilities, repainting public infrastructure, improving recreational areas, and conducting a beach clean-up at Greenwood Beach.
These collective efforts were focused on enhancing public spaces, promoting environmental stewardship, and creating safer, cleaner environments for both residents and visitors.
The initiative reflects CHEC’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and its dedication to making a positive impact in the communities where it operates. By working alongside local partners and residents, the SPARK Project continues to support sustainable community development beyond infrastructure construction.
