The Montego Bay Perimeter Road Project has been awarded the “3 Million Safe Work Hours” certificate by the project owner, recognizing the team’s outstanding commitment to safety management and operational excellence throughout the construction process.
Located in a densely populated urban area with complex construction conditions, the project has successfully maintained a strong safety record by implementing comprehensive QHSE management practices. These include hazard identification, risk assessment and mitigation, emergency response drills, regular safety inspections, and continuous safety training for both local and international employees.
Achieving 3 million safe work hours reflects the dedication of the entire project team to fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring that every task is carried out with the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental protection.
This milestone reinforces CHEC’s unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure while maintaining safe working environments, protecting surrounding communities, and promoting operational excellence across all of its projects.
