Maya Train

Located in Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, the Maya Train is a visionary rail infrastructure project spanning 1,460 kilometers across five states. Designed to be built in two phases, the project is divided into seven sections and includes 29 stations, connecting key destinations throughout the region.

The Maya Train will link major tourist hubs in southern Mexico while also providing efficient passenger and freight transportation along the route. With design speeds of 160 km/h for passenger trains and 100 km/h for freight, the project is set to enhance regional connectivity, stimulate economic development, and promote sustainable tourism.
